Solar Panel Mounting Brackets, 304 Stainless Steel, RV

A solar panel is only as good as the way it is fixed to your roof. These mounting brackets give you a secure way to install photovoltaic modules on a campervan, motorhome, boat or roof box, so your panel stays firmly in place on bumpy roads, in strong wind and on long motorway drives. Well-made brackets also make it easier to remove or reposition a panel later if you change your roof layout or upgrade your system.

The brackets are made from 304 stainless steel, a material chosen for its resistance to rust and corrosion, which matters on vehicles and boats exposed to rain, road salt and sea air. A clamp-lock design holds the panel frame, and the kit comes with the hardware needed to fix the brackets. The silver finish sits neatly alongside most framed solar panels and roof rails.

They suit van converters fitting their first solar panel, motorhome owners upgrading an existing system and boat owners mounting modules on deck or cabin tops. The kit can also be used on vehicle-top and roof box installations. Check that the brackets suit your panel frame and roof type before fitting, use a suitable sealant where you drill, and have the installation and any wiring checked by a competent person.
