ANCEL BM200 Bluetooth 12V Battery Monitor, App, Campervan

A flat starter or leisure battery can leave you stuck at a remote campsite, and it is hard to know how healthy a battery is just by looking at it. The ANCEL BM200 is a compact Bluetooth 12V battery monitor that sends battery information straight to your phone, so campervan and motorhome owners can spot problems before they become breakdowns.

Once connected to the battery, the monitor shows voltage, battery level and temperature in a free app for iOS and Android over Bluetooth 4.2 within about 10 metres. It checks the cranking system automatically when the engine starts and tests the alternator charging system. Alerts appear on your phone if abnormal data is detected, and history is shown graphically. If you are out of range, data is stored for up to 30 days and synchronises automatically. The app can also record trips and parking position, and manage several batteries, with up to four devices on one page.

It suits any 12V vehicle battery, including campervans, motorhomes, cars, boats and motorcycles. Voltage accuracy is plus or minus 0.03V, and reverse connection and short-circuit protection are built in. An account login is required. The package includes the BM200 monitor and a manual. Connect it following the instructions, with the correct polarity.
