12V Roof Vent Fan 40cm, Rain Sensor, Remote, Motorhome

Cooking smells, condensation and summer heat build up fast inside a campervan or motorhome. This 12V roof vent fan replaces a standard 40 x 40 cm roof vent and actively moves air in or out, keeping the interior fresher, drier and more comfortable whether you are parked up for the night or cooking a meal on board.

The fan offers both exhaust and intake airflow with 10 speed settings, and the electric lid opens to a maximum angle of 60 degrees. An LCD remote control shows the fan speed and the interior temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. When the rain sensor is switched on, the lid closes automatically if it starts to rain. The translucent smoked cover lets in light while reducing UV, and the fan runs at under 35 dB.

It suits van converters, motorhome owners and caravanners replacing an existing vent or adding one to a new build. It requires a 40 x 40 cm roof opening and a roof thickness of 25 to 55 mm. Supplied with 16 mounting screws, a spare 5A fuse, a removable insect screen and instructions in five languages. Seal the roof properly and have the 12V wiring done by a competent person.
