12V Roof Vent Fan 280mm, LED Skylight, Caravan Motorhome

Condensation, cooking smells and stuffy air build up fast in a small living space, especially after a hot shower or a day of cooking on board. This 12V roof vent fan combines a skylight, an extractor and an interior light in one roof fitting, so your campervan, caravan or motorhome can breathe properly without leaving doors and windows wide open.

The unit is sized for a 280 x 280 mm roof aperture and runs directly from your 12V leisure system, so it works off grid without a mains hook-up. The built-in fan pulls warm, damp air up and out through the roof, helping to reduce condensation on walls and windows and keeping the interior fresher overnight. When closed, the translucent lid still lets daylight in, while the integrated LED light gives useful illumination after dark, which is ideal above a shower, kitchen area or sleeping space where a separate light fitting would be awkward.

It suits self-builders fitting out a panel van as well as owners replacing a tired vent on an existing caravan or motorhome. Popular positions include the washroom, above the hob and over the bed, where extra airflow makes the biggest difference. As it connects to your 12V wiring and requires a sealed roof cut-out, installation should be carried out by a competent person with suitable sealant and a correctly fused circuit.
