MPPT Solar Charge Controller 40A, 12V 24V 48V, LCD, USB

Solar panels on a campervan or motorhome only pay off when the energy they produce actually reaches your leisure battery. This MPPT solar charge controller sits between the panels and the battery, managing charging so you can harvest more power from the sun and keep lights, fridge and devices running when you are parked off grid for days at a time.

MPPT (maximum power point tracking) continuously adjusts to the panel output to squeeze more usable energy from each hour of daylight, and the manufacturer quotes high conversion efficiency of 98% or above. The controller automatically recognises 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V battery systems, so it can grow with your setup. A clear LCD display shows the charging status at a glance, and two built-in USB ports let you top up a phone or tablet directly from the unit. It is rated at 40A, a good match for most campervan and motorhome solar arrays.

This controller suits van conversions, motorhomes, boats and small off-grid cabins where dependable solar charging matters. Keep your total panel current comfortably below the 40A rating for best results. As it forms part of your electrical system, installation should be carried out by a competent person, using correctly rated cables and fuses as described in the manual.
